Dr Max Hills is the Regional Medical Director for Chevron, based in London. Max is responsible for Chevron's medical operations, fitness for duty, health surveillance, injury & illness management and preventative health programmes across Europe, Eurasia, the Middle East and Africa.
Originally from Wales, Dr. Hills completed his medical and health informatics degrees at Trinity College Dublin and subsequently worked and undertook training in medicine, surgery, paediatrics, psychiatry, and emergency medicine – in Dublin, Limerick, and Sydney. He completed his vocational General Practice (GP) training in Chester, England and worked as a GP in Dublin, Ireland, from2007 to 2012. In 2012, Dr. Hills moved to Australia with his family where he continued to work as a GP and in remote industrial site medicine.
Dr Hills then worked as Chief Medical Officer for the Gorgon Project in Australia and subsequently for the Department of Social Protection in Ireland, before returning to Perth, Australia as the Chief Medical Officer for Chevron Australia. He holds Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK), a Master's in Health Informatics and a Diploma in Occupational Medicine. Dr Hills has over 20 years' experience in emergency medicine, suburban general practice, remote site medicine, mental health, addiction medicine, corporate and occupational health.
